The scale of spirituality: the victim and the author
I thought of the phrase in the comments at the Helena release mailing list " in the path depth ":" ... only to reveal the suffering of our ability. " In the context of this phrase has been my whole life until recently. I wanted to understand why this is so, and went on a journey of learning, beginning with a definition.
Suffering - a way of understanding life through the pain.
- Why are we experiencing a form of knowledge, as the pain?
- Can we all learn differently?
- Why is this form of knowledge in the world exists at all?
Hardly, when we hurt, we say that we understand. Say "feel the pain."
We define this concept:
The test is pain - living situation of inaction, resistance to its source, with the conviction of his evil intentions against us.
We cover a sense of injustice, resentment over the fact that this is happening to them. We think that we do not deserve such treatment, and deserve the best. We dream to get rid of his "tormentor," and that the light will come times. In this state, we are not in the context of knowledge. Feel hurt, pain, irritation, lack of understanding of "why this is happening to me" and "what is my punishment."
This is - a typical situation, the context of the victim, who believes that "all is not my will." Shed tears of despair and give up.
We define the notion of victim:
Victim - dependent on the circumstances of a person with a weak will, unable to change the circumstances. "The circumstances stronger than me" - we say in this state - "I can not change, things are going against me, and I do not know what to do." Despair covers the mind and wants to go into his shell.
I think most of us have experienced this state at least once in their lives. In it we particularly wanted to love and protect. And especially we would not be pleased if we called a victim. You can choose different synonyms like "cornered" and so forth, but the essence remains the same. Because, by and large it is.
The opposite of the notion of "victim" is the "author".
The author - a man of strong will, strong convictions, active lifestyle, the organizing factor for the realization of their intentions. Every situation he sees in terms of new opportunities for themselves.
